(Hover over photo in order to visit the Walmart app to upload your own school supply list.)Well, it’s back to school again. The kids aren’t thrilled that summer vacation is ending, and as homeschoolers, Jacob and I also aren’t thrilled. Really, only Bean doesn’t seem to care. But even if we don’t want it to come, it’s still going to. So we needed a way to lighten the mood a little, and luckily, Conagra Snack Packs came along with the answer to our prayers. Their Dragon Treasure Snack Pack Pudding Cups are so much fun, and perfect for an adorable DIY Dragon pudding cup. Read on to see how to make your own, and for a free printable to help you along.

How to make it magical
These are so easy. And with back to school looming, you need easy. Just print up the dragon wings and cut them out. I made them blank so your kids can decorate them any way they want, and let their imaginations soar. Just like they had wings. (See what I did there?)

Bear and Bug had a blast decorating their own, and turned out some pretty creative wings. This makes a fun after-school activity/snack. While they are doing that, cut your candy into scales. I just basically did mine in the shape of home plate.

Next up, draw the dragon’s face on the pudding cup. Don’t worry if you think you’re no artist. We made an adorable face just with two dots and two curved lines. Tape your wings to the pudding cup, then peel off the lid. Spray a line of whipped cream down the middle of the pudding, then stick your candy scales in there, in a row. They look better if you overlap them a little bit.

And that’s it, you’re done. It’s so easy to make an ordinary school day into a magical dragon day.

About the pudding
Now let me tell you a little bit about the pudding, itself. I found them at Walmart with the rest of the pudding cups. They also come available with fairy dust and princess kisses. Otherwise known as the Unicorn Magic Snack Pack pudding cups.

Bean is all about dragons right now, so the Dragon Treasure Snack Pack pudding cups are what makes it into our cart. He is always asking for his dragon treat. The best part was the surprise tattoos. He loved that extra little bit of magic!

The Dragon Treasure cups come in two flavors, so you can choose from Sweet Green Emerald or the Rare Red Ruby treats. Even the flavors have fun names.

Don’t let the adventure stop here. Make sure you check out Conagra’s pages for the Dragon Treasure Snack Pack, Unicorn Magic Snack Pack, and the main page for the limited time Snack Packs for more fun recipes, games, and printables. The DIY Dragon isn’t the only awesome snack you can make.
