Disney’s latest live-action movie, Aladdin, is here. And it looks like a fun time. But more importantly, it has rekindled my childhood obsession with having a pet monkey. A lot of things look great about this movie, but what really grabbed me was Jasmine. I love the way they depicted her, and I just loved her look so much. This inspired me to create a fun, easy, beautiful dessert just to celebrate this movie. Plus I have teamed up with some other Disney bloggers. Stay till the end of this post to check out their recipes and learn about an exciting giveaway. So here we are, Princess Jasmine strawberries.
Ingredients for Princess Jasmine Strawberries

You will need:
Strawberries
blue candy melts
pink candy melts
gold decorating sugar
Process

It’s super-easy. First off, you need to wash and dry your strawberries. Next up, melt one color of candy melts. Everybody knows Jasmine’s blue dress, but she is seen in the trailer wearing a beautiful pink dress, as well. Either way, pick a color, get them all nice and melty, and dip your strawberry.

Let the coating drip off and harden, just a little. You want it to stick to the strawberry without flowing, but still be wet enough for the sugar to stick. Now the best way I found to sugar them is to take a spoonful of sugar and sprinkle it, over a plate or a bowl. Slowly turn the strawberry while you sprinkle.

After that, set it on a plate or tin foil sheet to dry. You can put it in the fridge, but unless it’s crazy hot, they will harden on the counter just fine. Repeat with your other color when you are done.

That’s it! Now enjoy your snack. Sit back, watch the cartoon version again, and enjoy this tasty, easy snack. Or you could sneak them into the theater to watch the live-action version. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anybody. As long as you get me a pet monkey.
